Kombucha | Fermented Tea
2 TBS pure black tea leaves with 4 cups water and 3/4 cup white sugar. Steep 15 minutes, strain tea, let cool.
Add SCOBY, 2 cups starter tea, and fill gallon glass jar to top with water.
Wait 6-8 days, to your taste
To carbonate: Add fresh ingredients with 1 TBS sugar (if needed) in airtight container, release carbon dioxide daily, ready when carbonated.
